Work at home moms seems to never have enough time. Between taking care of the family and working (Yes, work-at-home moms actually work!), it is hard finding extra time!
Did you know that many small chores can be accomplished is short bits of time here and there? Here are some lists of what you can accomplish in 30 minutes or less.
What you can do in five minutes
- Make an appointment
- File your nails
- Water plants
- Make out a guest list for a dinner party
- Order tickets to a concert or other event
- Sew a button on a shirt or blouse
What you can do in ten minutes
- Write a REAL letter to someone
- Pick out a card for someone
- Handwash some clothes
- Straighten your desk
- Take a short walk
What you can do in thirty minutes
- Go through that stack of old magazines and newpapers
- Do a craft project, some needlepoint or cross-stitch, or work on a sewing project
- Vacuum three or four rooms
- Weed your garden
As you can see, many of the above things are home related. What business chores can be done in short amounts of time?
- Sort business receipts
- Make a quick to-do list for the day

- Organize the day’s mail

Great blog post Kelly. I totally believe in making good use of my time. I often multi-task to just get everything done. I always take a few minutes for myself every day!
