How would you like to gain repeat/new business from your former customers or clients? Just a few changes to your business will help you keep your business in front of them.
- Get as much information as you can about your existing and new clients, such as birthdays, children’s birthdays, special interests, etc. That way, you will have something to use to keep in contact with them.
- Use this information somehow to keep in touch with them at least six times per year.
- If personal visits are not possible, leave voice mail messages or send emails/newsletters with specific information to help them with their needs.
Make it a point to get back in touch with your clients on a regular basis. If you do, you will increase the possibility of making them repeat customers.

Great tips! Here are two more that are extremely effective:
1. Give returning clients a “loyalty” discount. Send a newsletter every so often with a special discount for loyal clients.
2. Offer a referral discount. If an existing client makes a referral that leads to a sale, make sure the existing client receives a “referral” discount.
