Christian Ethics?

One of my Christian work-at-home friends just shared with me something that I still find amazing. Someone that had actually worked for her as a contractor “stole” her proprietary information and is now competing against her. This was someone that she had prayed with and about for years.
Why is it so hard for Christians to behave themselves? Why do they have to give us ALL a bad name?
Then I remember what Paul said!
Romans 7: 18-20 (Revised Standard Version)
18: For I know that nothing good dwells within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will what is right, but I cannot do it.
19: For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I do.
20: Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I that do it, but sin which dwells within me.
I guess if Paul still had problems with sin - so do we. And like him, we need to continue to put it aside - every day!
Soli Deo Gloria
